Not a paintbrush in sight!
Oil & cold wax medium is unique in the sense that unlike acrylics it takes a little while to dry so it gives the painter more time to manipulate the paint.  You can scratch and gouge designs, scrape away paint or add more layers of paint with a scraper or palette knife.

Why I created this website...

I want to share with you the joys of painting in oil & cold wax medium. For the past 15 years I had difficulty picking up a paintbrush or holding it longer than a few seconds because arthritis got in the way. Then I discovered oil & cold wax medium where I can paint with an ergonomic silicone scraper and it has given me an opportunity to enjoy painting again.

LEARN FROM ME.   DON'T LET LIFE'S CHALLENGES STOP YOU FROM MAKING ART!!

Molly Duncan’s workshops are filled with creative flare, the medium of cold wax and oil paint  combines technique with improvisation with surprising results. As an Art Therapist I am often intrigued with how different mediums lend themselves to expression, the use of  cold wax and oil paint allows the participant to explore the visual composition of colour and form shaped by ones emotional lens on the day. What one creates in the morning  may look very different to what follows in the afternoon. I highly recommend these workshops, Molly has a gift of drawing out what is ready to be expressed."
